At the end of the course, "Higher technician for the management and verification of energy systems" will be able to:

  • identify energy needs and apply energy laws and carry out procedures for access to funding;
  • determine the feasibility of an intervention using economic and analysis tools, monitoring and processing data about energy performance of production facilities;
  • assess the environmental impact of energy systems; choose and apply innovative technologies of plant and materials used;
  • apply safety, quality and environmental rules, evaluate the cost / benefit balance of the choices made.

"Green Managers" are able to market requirements, with a specific focus on optimizing energy consumptions and generating energy from renewable sources.



COMPETENCES AND SKILLS


The Higher technician for management and control of energy systems is able to perform the analysis and management of systems for production, transformation and distribution of energy, taking on the role of energy manager for civil and industrial buildings. He can work in different types of energy systems, applying the appropriate procedures in case of process failures, programming and managing operations and maintenance of plants and assessing their reliability. He can perform instruments and operations with regard to efficiency and energy saving. He can analyze and evaluate energy performance of buildings, processes and production facilities. He can monitor implementation of laws and technical rules, at national and regional level.



QUALIFICATION


At the end of the course "Higher technician for management and control of energy systems" the students have a 5 EQF level qualification, and will be able to:

  • identify energy needs and apply energy laws and carry out procedures for access to funding;
  • determine the feasibility of an intervention using tools for the economic analysis, monitoring and processing data about energy performance of production facilities;
  • assess the environmental impact of energy systems; choose and apply innovative technologies of plants and materials used;
  • apply safety, quality and environmental rules, evaluate the cost / benefit balance of the choices made.
