At the end of the course, the Higher Technician for Energy Saving in Sustainable Building will be able to:
- design buildings by applying the proper methodologies of sustainable construction
- implement sustainable recovery measures for existing buildings
- monitor the application of EU and national legislation and technical regulations.
- coordinate site activities in an integrated executive design.
- masterfully manage the technical skills related to: energy saving and energy certification, energy efficient enclosures, thermo-technical systems powered by alternative energies, acoustics, home automation, environmental impact assessment.
- manage the integration of the various technologies in the construction on site.
- acquire the technical skills of planning, programming and coordination of safety on building sites / buildings.
- acquire the technical skills for the energy certification of buildings.
COMPETENCES AND SKILLS
The Higher Technician for Energy Saving in Sustainable Building works in the analysis, design and construction phases of buildings applying the methods and technologies of green building and more generally sustainable building. The Technician manages the activities related to: energy saving and evaluation, high efficiency building envelopes, thermo-technical systems powered by alternative energies, acoustics, home automation, environmental impact assessment. The Technician takes care of the integration of the various technologies in the construction on site, optimizing the construction process with criteria of efficiency, quality, safety, and reduction of environmental impact. In carrying out all of these professional activities, The Technician ensures the application of EU, national and regional legislation and technical regulations
QUALIFICATION
At the end of the course "Higher technician for management and control of energy systems" the students have a 5 EQF level qualification.
The qualification of V European level will allow Technicians to intervene in the aforementioned areas such as:
- Site Manager for the construction of new works, restructuring, recovery of existing structures and energy efficiency
- Assistant to the Designer or to the Works Manager
- Designer and Works Director
- Security Manager, Safety Coordinator during design and execution
- Energy certifier
